Jennison - Henry S.

Henry S. Jennison died Monday at about 11 o’clock, of pneumonia, after an illness of about 10 days, aged 48 years. He was born in this city in 1846 and has lived at the home place all his life except the first two years. He was never married and was a quiet and industrious citizen. He served first in the six months’ service and then enlisted in the reorganized 11th Indiana, where he remained until the muster out of that organization. At the battle of Winchester he was severely wounded through the arm and hand, losing a thumb. -s
